Summary:
The present study aims to address the matter of teaching Greek as a foreign
language to students attending Classes of Educational Priority through the course of 5th
Grade Physics. The study focuses on the fundamental principles of intercultural
education governing the Classes of Educational Priority through the study of the
existing literature and the characteristics of this particular group of students. It also
presents matters of educational material design for bilingual students with an emphasis
on the dictionary. Through the research conducted, the conditions of operation of the
classes belonging to the Educational Priority Zones and the needs of the students and
teachers were investigated. Based on the findings of the research, a Trilingual Illustrated
School Dictionary of Physics for the 5th grade of Elementary School was designed to
help foreign students with a A1 level of language proficiency.
