Original Title:
Αντιμετώπιση προεκλαμψίας τρίτου τριμήνου
Translated title:
Confrontation of pre eclampsia in third trimester of pregnancy
Summary:
Preeclampsia affects 2-8% of all pregnancies worldwide. Preeclampsia and its consequences are important causes of morbidity and mortality for both the mother and the newborn. The aim of this study was to review the literature in order to find ways to treat and manage preeclampsia in pregnant women who are in their third trimester. The bibliography was searched via the Pubmed online database.Six studies were included in this systematic review. All studies included women who were between 23 and 35 weeks of gestation. There is little evidence to support the ideal fluid management strategy in the management of preeclampsia. There is a great heterogeneity among patients with preeclampsia regarding hemodynamic parameters and biochemical profiles.
