A technological disaster is a fact that is caused by a malfunction of a technological structure and / or a human error in controlling or managing technology. Technological disasters can be considered as man-made disaster, which means that there is a characteristic "recognizable cause". Because of this feature, the impact on communities can often be more damaging.
