Design and Perspectives of Jazz Mapping Database Utilization

In the context of this dissertation, relevant research was conducted on the design of the Database and its models for its systematization of information that has already been recorded through Semantics analysis and Segmentation of Jazz Mapping Annotation. At the design stage of the database some special features of the analyzes were re-tested, additional data and parameters were added and a relevant extension was made to their field in a larger content object.
The ways of data processing and data transformation were examined based on IT standards for importing them into the Database (DB) together with any new metadata they deemed significant and necessary. After that, some key aspect points where examined and oresented, for representing or integrating of data in other forms of display such as graphs, for further processing and management by third-party systems and algorithms.
In the second part of the dissertation, two works of the composer Aaron Parks were analyzed and presented, as also the reasons for choosing these works were analyzed. These led to two alternative orchestrations, one for each original composer's work, in a different direction from the original composition's musical form and orchestration.
