Summary:
Atrial fibrillation is a common complication after a cardiac surgery. Post operative atrial fibrillation (POAF) is associated with long hospital stay and increased health care expenditures. According to estimates, AF is prevalent in 5-40% patients after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG).
The aim of this study was to assess the frequency of early onset of AF in patients after CABG.
