The Management of mass losses in the local community

Mankind has often been confronted with natural or man-made mass destruction. These disasters usually cause a large number of human losses, which require appropriate management. The management of mass health losses is aimed at providing services to groups of people who are victims of a disaster, both in the field of care and in the field of Public Health, in general and locally.
Aim
The purpose of this paper was to analyze and present the management of mass life losses after a catastrophic event.
Material and Method
This is a systematic literature review with the method of sorting and comparing the characteristics of each study with qualitative evaluation and findings. The criteria for selecting or selecting a study were the existence or report of a mass loss management plan, the reference to crisis management in any mass disaster, and any reference to mass health loss. The study was designed to compare the existence of a properly organized and executed mass loss plan internationally, with the organization and execution of a plan in Greece.
The material used was the review of the international literature and literature on issues related to the D.M.A.Z., the review of the Greek literature on basic concepts and definitions of civil protection, the study of the institutional framework of the bodies involved, the study of the institutional framework of Civil Protection (PP) and the use of online sources to find information at all stages of the work.
The web sources came from the Google Scholar and Mendeley databases.
