Summary:
The aim of this thesis is to collect data about the biostratigraphy and palaeoecology in the eastern Atlantic Ocean exploiting the presence of planktonic microfossils. The planktonic foraminifera, as biostratigraphical index, help us recognise the palaeoclimatic changes both on a local and a global scale.
