Creating website for community nursing laboratory faculty of nursing, University of Athens

Creating Website for Community Nursing Laboratory, Faculty of Nursing, of University of Athens was the subject of this thesis.
In the theoretical part of the thesis are described: the computer networks, the Internet, the architecture Client-Server, the computer communication protocols (TCP-IP, HTTP), the web languages and the Content Management Systems (CMS). Greater emphasis is given, as required as, to the Website analytical description of web pages development, mode of CMS and specifically TYPO3. The TYPO3 is an open source CMS and the creation of the website has been based entirely on TYPO3. Moreover, a manual of TYPO3 was developed with a full statement of operations. Finally, the theoretical part concludes with a detailed presentation of the application.
Regarding the practical part, a dynamic website for Community Nursing Laboratory is created in Greek and English version. Through the pages and subpages of menu, the user has the ability to find information on a variety of aspects of the laboratory (infrastructure, programme, human resources, undergraduate courses, post graduate courses, etc).
The aim is to exploit the website with immediate usability and functionality for all users.
