Summary:
This thesis aims at the presentation of the individual elements and the scope of the special jurisdiction for torts according to article 7 note 2 of Regulation 1215/2012, as well as at the presentation of the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union during the interpretation and application of such legislation, with an emphasis on the problematic which the Court of Justice of the European Union was called upon to take into account pursuant to the relevant provision and the interests at issue in each case.
