CD player controller with DSA Protocol
Summary:
The DSA-bus is an asynchronous, two-way, internal bus designed to communicate between two microprocessors in one set.
It consists of three two-way lines:
• DATA - to start synchronization and data transfer
• STB - for data strobe (data is valid as long as STB is low)
• ACK - to start synchronization, data transfer-recognition and communication-recognition

We use DATA to start communication.
STROBE is to check when the data it sends you is valid.
ACKNOWLEDGE confirms that what it has received is OK and that it has not received any communication error.
These are 3 signals which are 3 bits of the processor. Which connect the transport to the microcontroller.

Each data communication consists of three phases:
• Sync Start synchronizes the transmitter and receiver for data transmission
• Data transmission, the transmission of all data bits with the help of strobe and acknowledge signals
• Communication recognition, that the receiver allows the transmitter to know if the communication is faulty or not. If the communication has errors, it can be repeated until it is OK.
A processor is called a transmitter when it wants to transfer data, it starts with a synchronization phase, it transmits the data and upon request it finally receives the communication is recognized. The other processor automatically becomes the receiver.
