Summary:
This dissertation mainly analyzes the energy balance and energy policy of today.
Nowadays, renewable energy sources play a very important role,
or otherwise green energy.
Renewable energy sources are forms of exploitable energy that come from various natural processes, such as wind, geothermal, water circulation and the combustion of inorganic and organic matter.
More specifically, this paper analyzes the processes of energy production from biomass (vegetable oils, animal fats, etc.), the production of biofuels and their use.
The ultimate goal of this dissertation is the development of an environmental awareness and in combination with our geological knowledge to wake up to the future development needs of the country and the world in general.
In any case, renewable energy sources have been studied as a solution to the problem of expected depletion of (non-renewable) fossil fuel stocks.
Recently, new policies for the use of renewable energy sources are being adopted by the European Union, but also by many individual countries, promoting such internal policies for the Member States as well.
Renewable energy sources are the basis of the economic growth model of the green economy and the central focus of the school of ecological economics.
