Summary:
The main object of study of the present work is the approach to private property and the accumulation of wealth in the light of the English philosopher John Locke. The English philosopher, through his works developed pioneering theories for his time about the state and its role, politics, society, work and wealth. In the following chapters we will take a holistic approach to his philosophy.
First, as is reasonable, however, I consider it necessary for a correct understanding of the philosophical thinking of the English philosopher, to take a look back at the historical and social context in which the theories were formulated. The historical perspective developed by the theories-philosophical questions will provide us with a lot of information both for their analysis and for their understanding.

In addition, the biography of the philosopher about his life and work, will bring us closer to him, enhancing his ability to understand and analyze. Also, the same basic purpose is performed by the two basic theories of John Locke that will be mentioned, the physical condition and the social contract, as they are a basic cornerstone for the main issues of work, private property and wealth. Next, a conceptual analysis of the concepts of political philosophy and political economy will be made, in order to clarify the terms and make them understandable to the readers.

The main topic is the thorough study and explanation of John Locke's theory of property, material goods, and the contribution of labor. We will analyze the aforementioned views in detail, then moving on to John Locke's philosophical theories of wealth and especially its accumulation. Finally, the conclusions of what we have analyzed are drawn.
