In recent decades, the growth in the economy of many countries has led to a
significant change in the lifestyle of women, resulting in an increase in the age limit
at which they now give birth. The increase in the age limit set above 40 years and
even above 45 years has created numerous serious complications for both the
women themselves and for the fetuses, resulting in an increase in maternal and
neonatal mortality.
