The National Disunity in the Greek Press(1915-1917).Testimonies and Evidences of the reracrion of public opinion

The present post graduate dissertation analyses the political developments within the Greek society during the 20th century. In particular, the above research focuses on the period from February 1915, when a disagreement between King Constantine and the Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos arose regarding the involvement of the country in the military campaign of British and French forces in the Dardanelles, until the moment the Greek State entered in the First World War. Initially, as a field of research to benefit the historical science the degree of utility of the Press is examined. Furthermore, the political events that took place in that period are under examination with a view to determine the historical frame. Finally, the research focuses on the ways that the news used in order to keep record of the stages of development of the National Disunity.
