329. The subject of the present study is the participation of the laity in the Administration of the individual Orthodox Churches. In this context, the relevant regulations of the senior Patriarchates (Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, Patriarchates of Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem), the newer Patriarchates (Patriarchates of Russia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Georgia), the Autocephalous Churches (Churches of Cyprus, Greece, Poland, Albania, Czech Republic and Slovakia and Ukraine) and the Autonomous Churches (Churches of Finland and Estonia) are being presented, analyzed and critically evaluated.
