Summary:
This paper presents the process of music recording -in the studio in two ways: live & overdub- and mixing of a small traditional ensemble as well as some basic sound recording techniques. Then, the final music product is evaluated, based on the interviews given by the musicians who took part in the recording, primarily with regards to the extent to which the authenticity and the particular character of the traditional music were represented .
