Except from the theory of the new network, there is also a presentation in an object-oriented tool called OMNeT++, which will help the reader to understand completely how it works. After the presentation of OMNeT++ simulation and the design of GPON network, we conclude the subject with indicative measurements from the simulator and finally we present the advantages and disadvantages of this network.
