Languages of Item:
English
Abstract:
This webinar is dedicated to the BICENTENNIAL OF THE GREEK REVOLUTION (1821-2021): The Sociology Studies Lab and the Theoretical and Social Studies Department at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), in collaboration with the Hellenic Studies Program and History Department at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) California, seek to initiate discussions and activities that include women’s contributions.
In thinking across disciplines, our first webinar seeks to explore, inspire, and promote interdisciplinary exchange, discussions, and collaborations on the unknown aspects of the Greek War of independence (including the pre and post revolution period), in addition to women’s firsthand accounts, revealing experiences hidden from history.
