Islamic Terrorism and the fight against terrorism after 9/11

One of the biggest challenges that the international community has faced throughout the years, especially after the 9/11, is the phenomenon of the Islamic terrorism. This particular theses will describe the phenomenon mentioned above, in relation with the 9/11 attacks. Furthermore, in this project, both the types of the Islamic terrorism and of the islamic extremists will be imprinted. Additional, we won’t fail to mention the most vicious and dangerous terrorism organisations that pose a great threat for the West.
Last but not least, this essay will attempt to narrate through the anti-terrorism measures and strategies that the West has established, both for the elimination of the negative effects that acts of terrorism may cause, and also for the prevention of such acts in the future.
