Contribution to the geological study of the streams of Mandra, Attica
Summary:
The object of this Diploma Thesis is the research in the upstream areas of the two hydrological basins that affect the residential fabric of Mandra, where there were high rainfalls in a short time, resulting in increased water supply and the consequent cause of intense erosion and solid rain areas. The research works include the study of the physical characteristics of the hydrological basins, as well as the individual geological conditions that characterize the hydrological basins under study.
At the same time, the anthropogenic interventions were identified, and their way and degree of impact on the geological environment was interpreted.
