Summary:
The present dissertation examines the Lithica Kerygmata as an autonomous work, commenting on each paragraph separately and in detail based on the surviving sources of ancient and byzantine literature. At the same time, it seeks to include the text not only in the environment that contributed to its creation, but also in the Christian world from which it was accepted.
