Summary:
This paper is an interesting bibliographic work that focuses on the role of
leadership in crisis management. More specifically, through this work, an attempt is
made to highlight the particularly important role of leadership and administration in
crisis management effectively. As mentioned in the next chapter (Chapter 4), there are
many difficulties in managing and dealing with emergencies and crises.
It is clear that any effective leadership must be characterized by insight and
effective communication with scientific bodies. In this way, critical situations can be
quickly perceived and their severity assessed, in order to properly prepare for dealing
with them, to design the strategy that will be implemented and to synthesize all the
elements for the effective management of each crisis. Clearly, leadership and
management must have the right characteristics to be able to cope effectively with any
kind of crisis. Particular emphasis should be placed on decisions, as wrong and hasty
decisions can lead to adverse and irreversible consequences. Thus, in order to deal
effectively and correctly with a crisis, the leadership must have the understanding to
understand the problem early on, to make quick decisions, to prioritize based on the
chosen strategic plan, to cooperate and to develop effective communication with
existing ones in order to achieve the set goals. At the same time, the leader must be
flexible and adapt processes, constantly using appropriate and innovative methods.
Thus, the intense interest of the work becomes apparent, which attempts to capture
the value of the role of leadership in the effective management of crises and difficult
situations and crises. Essentially, work is a combination of leadership and crisis
management, difficult situations in which every leader must have certain
characteristics in order to cope
