Summary:
Greek like most languages contains vocabulary of exogenous origins. This thesis focuses on the non-Greek terms present in this language since the Linear B tablets, the oldest written record of Greek. Through the non-Greek lexicons attested on them, the connection between the early Greek speakers and the languages from which these vocabularies originated is explored, comparing the archaeological and written record.
