Summary:
Abnormalities and variations of the bones are developmental alterations occurring with or without clinical manifestations.
Congenital abnormalities may have a genetic background.
In the current study, 52 adult human skeletons (28 male and 24 female) were investigated.
Twenty-eight (28) variants in bones' development were identified in 16 male (66,7%) and 12 female (42,9%) skeletons.
Concerning the anatomical areas, the head concentrated 12 variants, the spine 7 variants, the dorsum 3 variants, the lower limp 3 variants.
