Summary:
In this work I will create a web application through a cloud computing platform. The application will produce diagrams from telecommunication traffic data from ten base stations that provide connection to the 4th generation network in Greece. First, I will introduce the basic concepts of 4th generation networks and how such a system is optimized. Next, I'll break down the parts of the cloud computing platform that the web application will utilize. A large part of the methodology is the preprocessing of the data and its transformation into a format suitable for the database they will be imported. Then, I analyze the cloud computing code and the resulting graphical user interface.
The results of this work include descriptive statistics for each cell of the base stations, as well as a heatmap of the correlation matrix from the features of interest. I will also include bar graphs and scatter plots for each pair of the features of interest. All results are generated dynamically through the interactive generated web application.
At the end of this work, the reader will be familiarized with the parameters by which a modern telecommunication system is described, the way in which he can process the data with the Python programming language, but also the way of presenting these data through a web graphical environment.
