Summary:
Trafficking in persons is a transnational phenomenon that has grown in the recent decades. Modern slavery is a terrible crime that includes domestic servitude, forced labor, and sexual exploitation. The present research examines the reports and legal measures against human trafficking adopted by the International and European Organizations. The method of analysis utilized in this thesis is the Geographical Analytical Method of Systematic Geopolitics and International Law. The geographical area of the analyses is Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, Moldova and Romania, which have displayed high-level policy attempts to tackle the issue.
