Original Title:
Translated title:
Translation into Greek of the Psychopathy Checklist Revised (PCL-R 2nd ed.), administration in combination with the Self-Report Psychopathy Scale 4 (SRP:4) in Greek population and comparison of the results.
Summary:
This thesis aspires, in addition to confirming or rejecting the two main hypotheses it posits, to be a simple and useful guide for the administration of the PCL-R in a Greek forensic psychiatric population.
The PCL-R is probably the most widely used tool for detecting psychopathic traits worldwide and is mainly aimed at forensic and criminal populations (such as prison inmates, inmates of psychiatric facilities, etc.).
For this reason, two of its main chapters were translated into Greek, concerning the Instructions for Administration (chapter 2) and the 20 Item Descriptions (chapter 3), which constitute its main axis. For the needs of the interviews, the Scoring Manual and the Interview Guide were also translated. PCL-R was administered concomitantly with SRP-4.
