Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS): The new form of terrorism in regard to ontology and political philosophy

In this thesis special emphasis was given on political theory and science in order to make fully understandable its philosophical approach. As we believe that in order to clarify certain essential parameters of Islamic State terrorism and of the prevailing conditions during its action in the Middle East, Europe and elsewhere, it is necessary to pay special attention both in the recording of events and in the interpretive approach by the political scientists, extensive parts of the thesis refer to political science.
In other words we qualified that in order to deal with Schmitt¨s political theory, Hannah Arendt¨s concept of totalitarianism, as well as with the approach of the terrorist attacks in France as ΅fascist crimes΅ through the philosophical analysis of Alain Badiou, we first had to refer political science¨s theories such as the theory of the four waves ( David Rapoport) and the theory of the fifth wave ( Peter Neumann).
