Abstract:
Plastics have improved everyday life exponentially, but their overconsumption has led to a global waste catastrophe, having immense economic and environmental consequences. Recent advances in the development of photochemical protocols that target plastic upcycling, and polystyrene (PS) in particular, have emerged as a prosperous solution in reversing the growth of plastic waste landfills. © 2022 Elsevier Inc.
