Summary:
The economic evaluation of assisted reproduction techniques has not been sufficiently studied in Greece even though it affects the healthcare spendings in a significant extent. This is mainly due to the complexity of methods and drugs involved, resulting in difficulties in their interpretation. The present study will try to clarify the methodology regarding economic evaluation in assisted reproduction techniques in Greece aiming to maximise the benefits for patients and the government.
