Sustainable practices in stage lighting. The case of Lefteris Pavlopoulos.

This work examines the role and significance of theatrical lighting, incorporating aspects of theater education, with a focus on the work of the acclaimed theatrical lighting designer, Lefteris Pavlopoulos. Due to a lack of bibliography, the study relied on the observation of the creator's work, discussions/interviews between the author and L.P., previous published interviews, videos, and testimonials from theater professionals about the creator's work and character. This approach highlights L.P.'s work and the importance of lighting in the aesthetic, communicative, and educational dimensions of theater. The methods and practices of L.P. in relation to theatrical lighting are analyzed, as well as his contribution to the education and empowerment of new generations of artists in the field of theater.
