Summary:
The theatrical critique for children and adolescents is a highly significant part of the cultural scene in Greece. This thesis explores the importance of critique of the theater production for young people by examining certain aspects. To be more specific, both greek and international literature were reviewed to explore four major notions. Firstly, the concept of art critique is clarified, along with how it is applied to the theater. Subsequently, focus is placed on the history and evolution of theatrical critique in Greece, including both printed and electronic critique. Certainly, children's and adolescent theatrical production stands out as a unique domain, representing an alternative mode of personal expression where critique plays a pivotal role in assessing and endorsing these presentations. Having that in mind, another noteworthy aspect of this thesis revolves around the critique of theater for young people, highlighting its evolution in printed and electronic media. Finally, this study concludes by investigating potential future paths for theatrical critique in Greece, considering new technologies and trends. Throughout, the multicultural and dynamic nature of theatrical critique in Greece and its role in the country's rich theatrical scene are always kept in mind.
