Summary:
The purpose of this work is to highlight the personality of Leonidas
Dimitriou Sfikas, as one of the most charismatic cantors of the 20th century.
The work consists of two parts, his biography and his work
Leonida Sfika. In the first part, his life and active life are presented
his involvement in the art of chanting, according to testimonies from his family.
The second part includes the cataloging of the manuscripts
of his notebooks, which mostly contain copies of his compositions
teacher of Georgios Vinakis, but also some minimal compositions by other composers.
