Norse religion and Christianity in the work of J.R.R. Tolkien. A religious approach
Summary:
The purpose of this thesis is to identify the influences that Professor J. R. R. Tolkien received from Norse mythology and Christianity. Through this study, we learn about the life of the father of fiction, as well as his writing. The reader has the opportunity to learn about several of Tolkien's heroes and the world of Middle-earth. Also, the inclusion of these two religions is not accidental, since the author himself admired them but for different reasons.
