Elli Lambridi: Personal life, History and Philosophy

The purpose of this essay is to present the life and the work of Elli Lampridi, the first Greek philosopher who promoted the philosophical way of thinking and broaden the spiritual scope of the whole Greece, during the 20 th century, as she defined as the most important philosophical question, the quest of the human destination, which is the highest purpose of human’s life. This essay, begins by presenting Elli’s life and work while it proceeds with an extended report on her rich prototype work by providing genuine detachments. A question that follows up, refers to whether the philosophical work is personal; it is followed by the detailed presentation Platonic cosmological theory as a dualistic system. Additionally, there is a report on what consists a real philosopher, as well as, the way they can take. Slightly before reaching the end, the general approach of Marx’s theory is applied. Finally, the outcome refers to the higher purpose of life being connected with the deeper “willingness”, which is possible to lead humankind to happiness.
