Putin's Regime and Totalitarianism, under the thought of H. Arendt
Summary:
This paper, following the current affairs, examines aspects of the regime in today's Russia. More specifically, after a brief historical review, it examines the influence of anti-Western philosophical doctrines on the formation of the Russian political system and the ideology that seems to accompany it. Under H. Arendt’s approach, we will attempt the demystification of Putin’s regime, in order to grasp the political realities in contemporary Russia.
