Summary:
The role of Civil Society in modern democracies is crucial for promoting social messages. This thesis focuses on the non-profit organization Vouliwatch, examining the use of communication to strengthen democratic participation. By analyzing the organization's communication campaign during the 2023 national elections, young individuals’ (18-25) inclinations towards communication and democracy, and conducting qualitative interviews with a representative of the organization and communication experts, it aims to identify the characteristics of a new communication strategy. This thesis is structured into three parts, the theoretical framework, the research process, and the proposal of a communication campaign for the 2024 European elections.
