Summary:
The inclusion of students with disabilities in the general education classroom has been a dominant topic of research for many years. Global surveys have been examined to understand the views and attitudes of parents and teachers, and how these influence the successful inclusion of students with disabilities in the mainstream school environment. This literature review focuses on examining the views of both parents of typical students and the attitudes of typical teachers regarding the inclusion of students with disabilities in the general classroom. After examining the results of this research, the impact of this research on the successful inclusion of students with disabilities in the mainstream classroom will be discussed.
