Fake news & bias. The case of the "Motherland-Religion-Family" triptych.

This paper attempts to examine the relationship between the concepts articulated in the triptych “Motherland, Religion, Family” and public's acceptance of fake news. It also attempts to examine the extent to which age is a factor in increased acceptance of fake news in relation to the concepts of the triptych and in general. The level of acceptance of fake news is also examined in relation to the respondent's own rating of each concept in the triptych, and an attempt is also made to rate the concepts of progress and tradition.
The study of this relationship is complemented by findings that can enhance the understanding of the audience's information progress, findings that link the main information medium chosen, the frequency with which the public is informed, and the assessment of the reliability of the news presented by the media and the Internet with specific characteristics of the audience, such as age, occupation, marital status, etc.
A closed-ended questionnaire was chosen as the tool for conducting the survey, while statistical analysis and hypothesis testing were carried out through analysis of variance of the means between the groups of the experiment. In conclusion, the results confirm the initial hypotheses of this study, showing sometimes higher and sometimes lower significance.
