The penetration of Turkey, as a geopolitical agent of power redistribution in the North African Complex, focus on the Culture/Information Pillar
Summary:
In this Thesis, we will examine how Turkey's foreign policy is shaped in a more specific field, which concerns its presence in the North African countries to which we will refer below, which also takes on specific geographical characteristics.
We notice that Turkish foreign policy is interspersed with elements of promoting the ideology of Panturanism, an attempt to strengthen its presence in the Turkish-speaking republics of Central Asia, a naval expansion in the Eastern Mediterranean (Blue Homeland doctrine) and a strengthened presence in the countries of North Africa and of the Balkans promoting in particular the element of Islam but of their Ottoman past.
All of the above are subject to Ankara's need for economic expansion primarily.
