Time management : the reasons why fails and ways to improve it
Summary:
In the year 2024, despite the plethora of technological tools, employees can't seem to manage
their work time to the fullest extent. Time management, or as we commonly hear and say,
"time management," is not a new concept. Extensive references to the concept and ways to
achieve it have been made since as early as 1970. In recent years, its importance in the
workplace has been emphasized due to the intense pace of work and the many tasks we are
called upon to accomplish.
This particular dissertation aims to thoroughly examine and analyze the importance of
effective time management, focusing on the private sector. The primary objective of the
research is to highlight the main reasons leading to the failure of time management,
examining the aspects of lack of organization and prioritization as well as excessive
workload. Additionally, it will focus on identifying practical techniques and strategies that
can significantly improve time management by offering specific solutions for
implementation. Through this research, the aim is to compile a comprehensive and useful
handbook that will provide valuable information for improving time management, with
direct applications in the professional realm.
Finally, the main findings of the study are extensively documented, analyzing the
conclusions drawn from questionnaire responses, critiquing them, and proposing suggestions
to assist future research endeavors.
