Do you accept it ? Yes or no ? - Ethical Issues of privacy and consent
Summary:
The fact is that we are on the verge of the fourth industrial revolution, where technological applications have begun to be developed that aim to improve people's lives. However, through this process, it is observed that these changes affect human life in various ways because social balances are disturbed, with the result that moral values are affected. Thus, through this situation it is observed that Human Rights and especially personal data are affected. Indeed, it is enough to think about the way the internet works as well as the technological applications, which to a large extent violate people's privacy. Therefore, through this thesis an attempt will be made to highlight the issue of personal data protection by focusing on the issue of privacy and consent. However, in order to do so, the philosophical theories that will be used during the analysis as well as a brief presentation of the basic ethical values will be highlighted. Finally, some conclusions will also be drawn, which are intended to give the reader adequate food for thought.
