Summary:
The treatment of the Church has therapeutic character, which through mystic life and exercise leads humans to the therapy of “pathos”. The therapeutic treatment, which is offered only through the Church, has been acknowledged by all sacred Fathers of the Church, all scared Fathers of the Church that it consists the only direction to God. In this way, a new Christian content in the concept of treatment is spread across by the Metropolite of Nafpaktos and Agios Vlassios, Hierotheos which expresses the Christian’s “ethos”. In this present dissertation the value and contribution of Christian treatment in the quest of modern Christians is attempted to emerge. The purpose was to understand this therapy in theory and practice in order to deal with the people’s mental problems in modern era.
