This dissertation aims to critically appraise the multi-dimensional implications of green packaging to the business environment. The aim is to critically review its effects on market share, consumer attitude, economic viability, environmental impacts, and future industry developments. In addition, by thorough literature review, theoretical exploration, as well as case analysis, the research paper explains how green packaging is serving as an imperative strategic tool for a business to strive to make a commitment to sustainability in response to varying needs of consumers who strive to ascertain the environmental sustainability of regulatory landscapes and take into account environmental stewardship. The findings are, therefore, vital in emphasizing that green packaging is a strategic means to enhance competitive advantage and brand loyalty. It evinces challenges such as the initial high cost and complexity in assessing environmental impacts. The dissertation draws a close by giving recommendations for future research, including empirical and consumer analysis of emerging technologies needed for companies to practice green. This paper thus fits into the growing discourse on sustainable business practice and gives findings that will be of value for companies, policymakers, and researchers.
