Summary:
Eating Disorders (Nervosa Anorexia, Nervosa Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder ) are one of the most common mental illnesses in recent years. The protective and risk factors are many such as social norms, personality type, type of attachment, relationships, while traumatic experiences play a very important role in the development of Eating Disorders . On the other hand, trauma may contribute to the development of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, so similar protective and risk factors, such as environment, temperament, attachment and ventricular relationships influence the development of this disorder as well. Therefore, the aim of this literature review is to investigate the relationship between Eating Disorder and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder . Research suggests that trauma influences the development, severity and chronicity of eating disorders.
