Summary:
This thesis investigates the contribution of models used in aviation for utilizing, managing and adopting essential skills and behaviors of the personnel (CRM) to the effectiveness of healthcare service delivery. This study is a narrative literature review. By examining the theoretical background of CRM, the study assessed its effectiveness in healthcare quality, as well as the main challenges in its implementation. The findings indicate a significant improvement in healthcare outcome, with a notable 30% reduction in surgical complications and a 18% reduction in mortality. However, further research is required, as its application in the healthcare sector is still in an early stage.
