Η σχέση μεταξύ των ομάδων αίματος ΑΒΟ και του αιμοστατικού μηχανισμού
Translated title:
The relationship between ABO blood groups and the hemostatic mechanism
Summary:
This thesis focuses on the investigation of the relationship between blood groups and the mechanism of hemostasis, examining the association of blood groups with both bleeding disorders and diseases such as diabetes mellitus and preeclampsia. The aim of the study is to summarize the role of the different blood groups in hemostasis and to investigate the mechanisms that may be involved in an increased risk of bleeding or thrombotic events.
The study showed that blood groups exert different influence on the risk of thrombosis and bleeding, with blood group O resulting in an increased risk of bleeding disorders, while non-O groups more often related with thrombosis. At the same time, interesting correlations with other conditions emerged, such as diabetes and coronary artery disease, which however require further research for their full understanding.
In conclusion, the present research highlights the importance of blood group in the individualized monitoring of patients and its involvement with various pathologies, however the need for additional studies to verify these findings is warranted.
