Human Society – Animal Society. Critical Analysis and Comparison of Social Structures. From Ancient Sparta to the Beehive, from Spartan Society to the Society of Bees.
Summary:
This thesis is a Sociological/Philosophical approach to human and animal society. The main tools, which were used to, its development are Sociology, Philosophy, Political Philosophy, History and Beekeeping, and through a bibliographic review the study of these two societies was achieved. It is a retrospective and a walk-through study in space and time, since these two societies were created on earth to modern times, emphasizing on theorists who developed movements about them. The last chapter, which deals with the society of Ancient Sparta and the Society of Bees, attempted to serve as a case study, while conclusions are drawn and research questions are answered, the results of which are of interest. Through similarities and differences of these societys we discover aspects of their lives that converge or diverge in a wondrous way.
