Mixed boundary value problems in electromagnetic wave scattering by chiral media
Summary:
In the first chapter :
A1 : The solvability of the scattering problem where a plane electromagnetic
wave that propagates in achiral environment meets a penetrable chiral
dielectric with a perfect conductor core, is proved.A2 : The solvability of the
scattering problem where a plane electromagnetic wave that propagates in chiral
environment meets a mixed impedance chiral screen (a very thin surface area of
a chiral body), is proved. In the second chapter: The Low-frequency theory is
used so the scattering problems A1 and A3 :The scattering problem where a plane
electromagnetic wave that propagates in chiral environment meets a perfect
conductor, are turned into a sequence of potential theory problems. Then some
of these problems are entirely solved. In the third chapter: The inverse of the
scattering problem A2 is studied.
