Summary:
The aim of this work is to analyze the angiogenesis which is very important in
skeletal mature and fracture regeneration. An active net of blood vessels is an
essential condition for the survival of the musculoskeletal system.
Methodology: The growth of the skeleton and the restoration of the fracture
involves the coordination of multiple events such as migration, differentiation
and activation of many cell types and tissues. Development of
microvascularization and microcirculation is important for homeostasis and
regeneration of living bone.
Results: The vascular system carries oxygen, nutrients and many types of cells
in all tissues of the body. The development of mature vascular construction is
one of the early events in during organogenesis. The VEGF and their respective
receptors is the key of the molecular and cellular events that eventually lead
to the development of the vascular system.
Conclusions: Angiogenesis plays a crucial role in systematic development and
bone repair. The understanding between the bone and endothelial cells with the
sign molecules, presents basic mechanisms involved in bone morphogenesis,
offering skills associated with the bone disease.
